Under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Goldfarb from Philadelphia, a world renowned medical aesthetics surgeon and one of the lead clinical and treatment researchers for Selphyl, eight invited doctors from the Midwest, including Dr Hetz, were trained in fat harvesting with fat transferring into the face and hands. The Selphyl System enables the safe and rapid preparation of natural autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) utilizing a small amount of a patient’s own blood.
